You will be responsible for:
* Defining the vision and strategy behind our sustainability and energy approach and implement them with the help of a team of internal and external collaborators. You will ensure our policies are – at a minimum – in line with the EU’s Green Deal;
* Analyzing trends, data and modelling them around sustainability while screening for risks and opportunities to lower the carbon footprint of our portfolio;
* Searching for technological opportunities to optimize the sustainability of our portfolio: driven by enhanced environmental requirements, the need for improved efficiency and an eye for innovation. In this context, you’ll launch investment programmes that overarch the WDP portfolio;
* Building a business around energy (through investments & services) and sustainability, from an entrepreneurial mindset;
* Watching over the global resource planning on matters Energy & Sustainability, acting as senior project leader for sustainability enhancing projects;
* Working as a business partner to inspire cross-functional teams to provide our clients with innovative solutions and additional services;
* Managing the Energy & Sustainability team and maintain close contact with all the WDP entities in the different countries we’re active in. You report to the COO of our company.
