DAF XF/XG > 2017 DPF cleaning and overhaul
Topcats Heavy Duty successfully reconditions DAF XF/XG Euro 6 diesel particulate filters (DPF) manufactured after 2017. Many of these filters suffer from a shifting filter element, which can lead to breakage and blockages. Our technical experts have come up with a clever solution: a practical modification to the housing prevents shifting. Euro 4/5/6 particulate filter cleaning
Topcats uses thermal and mechanical cleaning. Diesel particulate filter cleaning is performed in a dedicated area within the workshop. In this cleaning chamber, the diesel particulate filter is cleaned to factory-fresh condition. When necessary, diesel particulate filters are completely disassembled to access the particulate filter substrate. This allows all types of contaminants in the filter (including soot, ash, oil, and additives) to be checked and cleaned. Upon request, the client receives a report, and a swap pool can be established.
Euro 4/5/6 particulate filter overhaul
During a particulate filter reconditioning, we replace malfunctioning or broken internal parts. These are then replaced with a high-quality new substrate or element. Reconditioning may involve replacing a substrate that has shifted. We then insert a new (insulating) mat. If necessary, we perform modifications to prevent future shifting. We may also replace a sensor connection. A particulate filter reconditioning is sustainable. The housing is reused, and only broken parts are replaced. The cost savings compared to a new one can be up to 80%.
Euro 4/5/6 Catalytic converter cleaning
We can clean catalytic converters contaminated with oil or AdBlue. If a catalytic converter is installed before or in combination with a diesel particulate filter, for example, in EEV or Euro 6 vehicles, we recommend sending it in for cleaning. In Euro 6 vehicles, the SCR catalytic converter is often built in, and the entire exhaust system will need to be disassembled for a proper diagnosis. We check the condition and flow, determine the cause, and then offer a suitable solution. Catalytic converter cleaning or any potential overhaul is always carried out in consultation with you.

Valves and coolers can become clogged due to contamination and cause serious problems, such as engine malfunctions. Therefore, it's important to maintain your valves and coolers. Topcats' maintenance is carried out quickly and professionally using high-pressure and ultrasonic cleaning. Custom Projects installation soot filters
Not all diesel machines are easily replaced with electric machines. Legal requirements do require employers to minimize harmful emissions. Topcats designs add-on particulate filters for diesel machines used in public spaces. This allows you to protect employees and bystanders from harmful soot in exhaust gases. We have supplied add-on particulate filters for various projects. Based on the machine's specifications, we can calculate which particulate filter you need. We build the conversion with filters in our workshop and can also handle installation if necessary. You can have the filters cleaned by us when they are full. A swap pool can be useful for this.
