A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) enables electricity to be stored efficiently and deployed intelligently. By temporarily buffering locally generated energy, such as solar or wind power, a BESS helps reduce energy costs, relieve pressure on the grid, and make the energy supply more reliable and sustainable. In addition, the system provides flexibility to respond to peak demand, grid congestion, and dynamic energy pricing.
