EMPTY CONTAINER HANDLER For terminal operators demanding reliable stacking performance, Konecranes supplies the empty container handler — available in diesel and electric versions. It has the power and stability to stack up to 8 containers high. The wide, rigid mast and powerful drive system ensure fast, accurate handling, even in high-throughput yard operations.

Terberg ATT
The Drive by Wire (DBW) platform for the YT Series terminal tractors receives commands from the automation kit or tele-operation kit. These commands are converted into actions in the same way the driver would in a manually operated vehicle. Terberg collaborates with suppliers to integrate an autonomous system that allows AutoTUG to share lanes with conventional trucks. This includes cameras, radars, and laser-based sensors for navigation, collision avoidance, and pedestrian detection. A central computer on the vehicle processes all sensor information in real-time, makes decisions, and verifies the route. DRIVE BY WIRE ECOSYSTEM The Terberg “drive by wire” vehicle is controlled via a CAN bus interface used for further automation or development. An automation layer is integrated into the vehicle with relevant safety levels in accordance with ISO 13849-1/2. The “drive by wire” controls the vehicle’s operational systems, such as the powertrain, braking system, steering system, fifth wheel, lift table, and lighting. ELECTRONIC DRIVER The second layer is the "Electronic Driver," which uses the drive-by-wire layer and can "control" the vehicle, meaning the vehicle can maneuver in a controlled manner along a pre-programmed path. This functional layer, developed by partners, provides the flexibility to connect the vehicle to a client's automation program for controlling vehicles. TERMINAL OPERATING SYSTEM (TOS) The third layer is the system from which the AutoTUG™ receives its instructions, the central logistics system that manages the fleet of AutoTUGs, among other things.

Terberg YT203EV
Benefit from high performance, emission-free and low-noise maneuvering, an extended range, and use in both hot and cold weather. Engine performance is comparable to that of a diesel engine, and you can choose from battery packs up to 236 kWh. Select the battery option that best suits your maneuvering and terminal operations. Furthermore, the battery system features a thermal management system (TMS), ensuring an extended temperature range. The new batteries have been thoroughly tested and certified according to ECE-R100 rev. 3 regulations. The universal charging connector complies with the automotive standard CCS2.0 or CCS1.0. The EV drive features a regenerative braking system to reduce energy consumption. Moreover, the EV system has fewer moving parts than a diesel engine and the previous generation EV, resulting in low maintenance costs. Terberg Connect telematics is included as standard with the YT203EV shunting tractor. This software monitors the vehicle's status and performance.
