Forwarder
Taking into account the nature and urgency of the shipment, you make the right choice of transport methods for the customer. You schedule these and communicate this to the customer. Thanks to your experience and insight, you succeed in ensuring that often complex logistical processes run smoothly, allowing the goods to reach their destination within the agreed time and price. You negotiate your prices with both customers and suppliers, based on a sound purchasing and sales policy.
Application Software Engineer
Together with the Software Development Manager, you translate end-user needs into clear, business-oriented solutions and technical specifications; you maintain existing applications and develop new functionalities with attention to user-friendliness, quality, and robustness; you test software, track down errors, and ensure a well-thought-out solution; together with colleagues, you plan implementations. You monitor risks, impact on users, and interaction with existing systems; you research new technologies, create practical test setups, and translate relevant innovations into our work environment; you write clear documentation for users and IT colleagues and help them make better use of the software (e.g., by providing training); in the absence of colleagues, you answer user questions and help resolve urgent problems.
Regional Sales Manager
Together with your colleagues in the commercial team, you succeed in further expanding Hamann International Logistics; existing client portfolio. Through active prospecting and leveraging your established network, you open doors at companies and stay informed about interesting projects that lead to new clients and successful deals. To this end, you analyze market data, develop a targeted prospecting plan, and take the necessary actions to achieve the predetermined targets. You are the primary contact person for companies interested in the added value that Hamann International Logistics can offer.
