Forwarder
Taking into account the nature and urgency of the shipment, you make the right choice of transport methods for the customer. You schedule these and communicate this to the customer. Thanks to your experience and insight, you succeed in ensuring that often complex logistical processes run smoothly, allowing the goods to reach their destination within the agreed time and price. You negotiate your prices with both customers and suppliers, based on a sound purchasing and sales policy.
As a Bachelor, you have completed a business-oriented or logistics education (e.g., Bachelor SCM) and have already gained relevant experience in a logistics and/or transport environment; In addition to relevant working knowledge regarding the use and application of forwarding documents, knowledge of Incoterms, road freight regulations, etc., is a strong plus; Thanks to your strong organizational skills, your solution- and customer-oriented approach, and your drive, you succeed in wanting and being able to make a difference for our clients regarding forwarding activities; You are fluent in Dutch and communicate fluently in French and English. You have active working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and are willing to familiarize yourself with a company-specific forwarding package. You are strong administratively, stress-resistant, and commercially minded. As a team player, you are also able to work independently.
